My Time in Tokyo

In the summer of 2023 I enrolled in a rigorous six week Japanese language course in Tokyo Japan. Learning Japanese is something I have always wanted to do, and I'm still going to this day! This trip gave me a very rich cultural experience, as well as skills I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Global Engineering Fellows

I am proud to say that starting Spring 2024 I am officially a member of the Global Engineering Fellows! After my time in Japan, I felt that I wanted to share my experiences and encourage others to take the leap and study abroad. The Global Engineering Fellows is the perfect program for this. Our responsibilities will be to attend engineering events as ambassadors and give presentations to first-year engineering students. We will tell them about our experiences and explain why studying abroad can be an enriching and character building adventure. Over the past semester we have been creating our presentations and practicing our mentorship and I cant wait to get started!
